How to use the SPC floor calculation program.

1. Specify the room size.

  • complete Width and length Measure the area you want to tile (in meters) and fill in the gaps.

 

2. Select the SPC flooring model.

  • Click to select your desired pattern:

    • Herringbone pattern: Luxurious, European style (590 THB/sq.m.)

    • Straight Crab Pattern (Wood Series): Natural wood pattern (550 THB/sq.m.)

    • Stone Series: Modern, contemporary (550 baht/sq.m.)

  • The system will immediately display product specifications such as sheet size, number of sheets per box, and percentage of scrap below.

 

3. Select additional options.

  • Installation labor cost included: Check the box if you want a King SPC technician to install it (the system will automatically calculate the price based on a flat rate or actual cost).

  • Total cost of lotus/finishing trim: Check the box if you want an estimate for finishing materials around the room.

 

4. Press the "Calculate Budget" button."

  • The system will summarize the total amount and break down the expenses (materials, labor, equipment) on the right (or bottom) side of the screen on your device.

How to calculate the area of SPC and vinyl flooring.

Formula for finding the area in square meters (sq.m.)

To calculate the area of a basic rectangular room, use the formula:
Width (meters) x Length (meters) = square meters

Example: A bedroom that is 4 meters wide and 5 meters long.
Area = 4 x 5 = 20 sq.m.

What percentage of leftover vinyl tile should be accounted for?

The allowance for waste depends on the laying pattern, as follows:

  • Straight wood-patterned flooring: In case of 5-7%
    For example, for an area of 20 square meters, you should order 21-21.5 square meters to accommodate that.
  • Herringbone crab: For example, 15-20%
    Because there are more bevel cuts than usual.

How many square meters can one box of SPC flooring cover?

It depends on the product model. King SPC products have the following details:

  • Wood Series (Wood Grain Pattern): 2.196 sq.m./box
  • Stone Series (Stone Pattern): 1.87 sq.m./box
  • Herringbone (fishbone pattern): 2.381 sq.m./box
If the calculation results in decimal places, how do I place the order?

SPC flooring is sold by the box. After calculating the total area, including allowance for scraps, you will get 20.5 square meters, and one box covers 2.2 square meters.
You will need 20.5 / 2.2 = 9.31 boxes. You need to order 10 boxes. (Always round up)
